I went crawling to the last guy on earth I felt attracted to – Thane Krios, the fishy-looking drell assassin. She said I'd done too many amoral and dangerous things. She said it was because of a decision I made after the game's climax. But Samara shut me down in the final moments of our courtship. In other Mass Effect lives, I'd hooked up with an asari called Liara and the sultry asari consort at the Citadel. Her species was frequently amenable to humans of either gender. I'd visit her as she meditated on the Normandy's observation deck. Samara, the asari vigilante, had always seemed receptive.
